Broken harness

Rover Com - Broken harness
I would like to express some disappointment w/ Yesenia. She doesn't seem very professional. When I got there and was telling her about Bleu she was on the phone with her husband and not really listening to me. She also didnt communicate on how Bleu was doing. I had to contact her daily for updates. She also sent a picture where all you saw was Bleu's tail. Just wasnt a great experience. But most importantly when I went to pick up Bleu she was carrying my dog and said her harness broke. She didnt even have a harness to show it was broken. Nor did she apologize or offer to replace it. Mind you this is the second time her harness is broken with Yesenia. The harness is a study one since my dog is 60 lbs. Because of this sitter i am on my 3rd harness which costs 25$ each. Spent 75 in total now. I would like some type of reimbursement for my dogs harness. Thank you

Lack of spare parts

Dear Sir/Ms; I live on 4 Acres in Meander Tasmania (approx 1 hr from the Rover dealer in Launceston). I purchased a Rover RZ42 Zero Turn (Model 17AAFAC5333) in May 2021. I have had no issues with the Mower and find it does the job very well. At the beginning of October 2021 I ordered a replacement set of blades and a new deck belt so as to have them on hand when needed - knowing that delays would be experienced in obtaining new ones. The blades arrived in early December however the belt is still on back order over three months later. I have tried dealers on the Mainland Australia as well as others in Tasmania and nobody has stock and all state they are on back order. Should the belt break I will be unable to use the Mower and it would not be long until the grass is out of control. Australian Consumer Law requires that spare parts be available for many products, including lawn mowers, for a reasonable time after the product is sold. I realise that Covid has resulted in shipping delays however as the blades arrived I am unable to understand why the belt did not arrive at the same time. Could you please advise when belts will be available and when they can be expected to arrive in Tasmania. Thanking you in anticipation. Peter Mallon

Dog died while in the care of the sitter

We booked a reservation with Rover.com Sitter Brenda for 12/24/21 to 1/02/2022. For the first part of the week, Brenda wound send text and pics on the well-bieng of my dog. She did report that my dog wasn't eating much. On Thursday, Brenda commented that my dog wasn't eating at all. At that time, I informed her we would be cutting our vacation short and would be back to pick up my dog on Friday evening. On Friday morning Brenda sent a text saying the dog is not eating at all and then she sent a video on the dog which seemed to be in extreme distressed wandering and panting. I informed her we would like to pick up my dog that evening. Brenda says that would be fine and that she gets off work at 10 and would have to go pick up her baby before she heads home. (who's watching the dog?) At 10:45 PM Brenda informs me we can come pick up the dog. She then text "he's not moving" then texts "i think he's dead" Rover has offered a parcel refund and Brenda is still active as a sitter on rover.com

Sitter dog neglect resulted in dogs' death

Booked service with Rover.com and Brenda was the caretaker/sitter for 12/24/21 - 1/2/22 things started out okay for the first part of the week, Brenda would send pics and comments on my dog well-being. She did report that my dog wasn't eating much. On Thursday, Brenda commented that my dog wasn't eating at all. At that time, I informed her we would be cutting our vacation short and would be back to pick up my dog Friday. On Friday morning, Brenda sent a video saying the dog is acting strange, I informed her I would be there that evening to pick him up. Brenda informed me she gets off at 10 and she would have to pick up her baby from the sitter (Who's watching the sick dog). At 10:45 that evening she informs me it's ok to come get my dog, then sends me a text "that he's not moving next text" "I think he's dead Very heart broken. None of Rover policies were followed and Rover doesn't want to take any blame in this, offering just a parcel refund of the stay and Brenda remains active as a sitter on Rover.

Can’t sign-up

I want to use rover but I dont have an account. Online site asks me to register or sign up. Ive tried to do the captcha 5 or 6 times and it rejects my [ code] as wrong. and wont let me sign up. This is frustrating. Apparently I can get no help without being signed in. Thats no help. Can you help!

TERRIBLE SERVICE

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I booked a sitter named Rhonda (don't use her!!). She was supposed to be there in the morning, never showed, then cancelled my entire booking because she got angry when i asked her when she would be arriving. Terrible terrible experience. The Company Rover tried to find me another sitter but NO WAY would I use them again. If you are going to hire someone who does this to you??? Out of town and nobody to watch my furry babies because Rhonda got 'but-hurt'???? There was a recording of the text messages, absolutely nothing out of line by me - I can never use them again and sleep good at night

I am just hours from starting a vacation and the Rover sitter just canceled the booking while in route to drop off.

Walmart promo did not go through

Hi! We just paid for and completed our first booking with your company. A wonderful experience! My notification said we should receive $20 from Walmart and contact you if we have not. Serv8ces were completed last week.

I had an ap for a sitter. When I brought my dog the sitter said he couldn't house her because he thought she was 10pounds. Her profile states she is 10months old, 60pounds I was charged the cancelation fee, and it still hasn't been refunded to my bank account

Complaint

I called to speak with someone e at your company in regards to the person who watched our dog for us while we were in San Diego. I explained all the issues we incurred with your sitter to include continuous harassment to get us to come back and pick up our dog because she could not handle her, in fact we were not gone 24 bouts and she was asking us if there is anyone who can come get her. This went on the whole weekend up to the day we started heading back. She pushed us to pick her up prior to 3pm even though I put that we would pick her up at 6pm. She made the comment that she has accommodated our schedule enough and would not do so any longer. I wanted to tell her you are accommodating me, I paid you lady to do a job, so now do your job. But I did not want to say anything to upset her while she had our puppy. I can tell you this she will never watch my dog ever again, in fact prior to us leaving our puppy with her, she gave us her direct non rover number if it worked out I could go through her directly and by pass Rover which I thought was not cool. In TGE future I will look elsewhere for a puppy sitter should I need one, and I suggest you start screening your sisters a bit more carefully as I'm sure we are not the only people that have had issues with her. We did take our puppy in to be checked by her doctor to I sure there was no abuse and he said she was fine and did not see any signs of abuse. Im sorry to say this was my first experience with you sisters and it will be my last.

Refund

I still have not received my refund of $277.00 I paid a month in advance for boarding my cat and dog from Nov 22-26, 2021. I got Covid and could only give 5 days notice to Kaylee as I was under quarantine and could not travel to my family for Thanksgiving. Please research and get back to me as to the status. Difficulty scheduling live in sitter

Need help

The sitter canceled after we dropped off our dogs. We had to go back to pick them up. She states that our dog was aggressive with her dog, weve never had an issue with Remy he is a friendly dog. Weve used Rover before and never had this happen. Please process a refund in full.

i believe i was overcharged and i was trying to get a hold of u and couldn't figure out how? My first time using app i was told i would get 20% off and i believe i was charged for an extra hour. i didnt relieve until i looked at credit card and then i used app again for the same amount of time and it was 35-$40 cheaper. please call me at 707.235.3875

Horrible nightmare dog

My Son decided to housesit a retriever from Millvalley. They allowed this PUPPY to be house sat for two weeks in my home. Failing to tell him this dog was rambunctious, tore things apart, Peed on the floor, this woman just threw stuff in a bag For the poor dog sHe obviously didnt care.. My house is a disaster. I believe they were too cheap to hire someone to housesit in their own house and they didnt want their home to be torn apart. Dont ever do it. Whoever is reading this its a warning. No amount of money is worth having your house clothing carpets area rugs, yard, belongings ripped up. No matter what you tell the dog. The owner was irresponsible and obviously did not tell the truth.
